Abstract
W latach 1989-91 Instytut Archeologii i Etnografii Uniwersytetu im. Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu prowadził prace wykopaliskowe na terenie osady nawodnej w Mołtajnach, gmina Barciany. Osadę datowano na halsztat С i D (?) (J. GACKOWSKI, informacja ustna). Pozyskane w trakcie badań zwierzęce szczątki kostne są przedmiotem niniejszego opracowania.
